‘I love finding old pieces that can be used in different ways, and this large vintage copper bowl is a perfect example – A one-off vintage piece with plenty of character’
Made from heavy copper, it has a beautifully aged patina and a substantial rolled rim, with the copper folded over a reinforcing metal hoop.
I’ve shown it filled with water and floating flower heads to demonstrate how easily it can become a miniature pond or simple water feature. as a centre piece or amongst pots on a terrace.
It could equally be used to display seasonal fruit, branches or dried flowers. That’s what I enjoy about vintage pieces, finding new uses for things that have already had a life.
