‘I have been using my table outdoors & the natural weathering of the zinc top has created a great patina, I simply love this aged look’
These stylish, zinc top half moon table tables works perfectly indoors as well as outdoors.
Although new, being hand-made they have a great traditional vintage look. The hand forged iron bases are painted in exterior quality paint which will, over time will pick up a little rust & age but in my opinion look all the better for it, adding to their vintage appeal – There is no reason you can’t repaint the legs in an exterior metal paint in the colour of your choosing.
Zinc is a natural product it is not stainless steel & although starting off a light grey overtime they will darken, patination occurs & they look even more beautiful.

How do I look after my Zinc Top Table ?
Zinc is a reactive metal that starts with a distinctive blue-grey hue and will develop a hazy-grey patina over time. This patina will continue to evolve throughout the lifetime of the product. Our tabletops do not have a coating. They are actual metal. Imperfections, including slight scratches, pinholes, and soldering marks can be expected on your zinc tabletop. They help create the country charm of this rustic metal. Hammered and textured zinc products will have a wavy, undulated surface and will not be machined flat
Windex or mild soap and water are recommended for daily cleaning. Wipe up all liquids with paper towels.
Light scratches and mineral streaking can be brushed out using a household 3M Scotch-Brite pad.
Many owners choose to let a patina develop on zinc. This enhances the “industrial” or “country” flavour of the tabletop
Deep scratches may be sanded out using sandpaper grades going from 150 to 220 and buffed with a 3M Scotch-Brite pad. Brush the tabletop in a circular pattern to recreate its original finish.
For white marks or rings, scrub the countertop lightly with diluted vinegar using a 3M Scotch-Brite pad and rinse with water.
DO NOT USE BLEACH – Bleach reacts very strong with zinc and will leave marks.
