Traditionally used to store meat, grease, duck rillette or confit – There is number ‘3’ pressed into the base suggesting it’s 3 Litre capacity.
In its original condition, dating from the early 1900’s, there is a couple of surface hairlines in the lovely chocolate glaze associated with aging (not through the pottery) ……. a true vintage piece indeed.
